Lyon, France – Four police officers from Botswana, Cameroon, Cabo Verde, and Kenya are the first mentees of INTERPOL’s womENACTion Mentorship Program. Selected from among 125 African women police applicants from 30 countries, the officers will embark on a year-long mentorship from September 2024 to September 2025. The program started with a visit to INTERPOL headquarters in Lyon, France.
INTERPOL will provide mentees with tailored mentoring sessions on criminal intelligence analysis techniques. Then, using analytical techniques, mentees will work on strategic analyses that will contribute to preventing and disrupting transnational organised crime in their countries.
